I’ve been taking a gentleman here to D&C for the last several weeks and he can’t stop talking about how kind the owners are and how they really care about their customers. I’ve been impressed by the shop myself. It’s a first come first serve basis. They have a play area for children and a soda refrigerator which you can buy a soda for $1.
They decorate by the season so I’ve seen Halloween and most recently Christmas! For Christmas they donate to Toys for Tots and all the toys were sitting under the tree waiting to be picked up the last time I was there. Very cool to see!
They do a nice job cutting hair, the place is clean, and it’s reasonably priced.
They both do a great job and take pride in their work which is very rare nowadays.
Pete's barber shop was closed early again with no sign posted, for the fourth time (a regular event -- a little unprofessional, just like Pete), so I went here. They were packed and I said I'd come another day, and one barber says "We'll stay. Come on in!" I got a great cut, great conversation, and was treated like they valued me as a customer. A totally new experience. If you want great service like you had in barber shops growing up, this is the place to be.
Consistently the best barber shop in the area. Dan and Carrie actually care about their craft, which is lost these days. The best part about getting a hair cut at D & C is that they use the vacuum trimmers so you don't have to go shower after a haircut.
This was my first visit to D&C , so I was a bit skeptical, since there are several barbershops in the area. All I can say is WOW! This place is AMAZING ! The staff is extremely friendly, and the shop is very clean, and the prices are just right.
I brought my son in that just turned 2 yesterday looking for a specific haircut. Eric did a AMAZING job!!! Most places seem to half ass kids hair cuts, and call it good. My sons hair is blond, so you can see every flaw. Eric took his time, and made sure the cut was on point. It's refreshing to see people that still take pride in their work. I also got my hair cut by Eric, and couldn't be happier! I live in Knox, so it's a 40 min drive for me, but it's well worth it. I will definitely be going there from now on!
Very clean cuts, great atmosphere. The owner, Dan, cut my hair and did a great job. Great guy.
My wife said, "Please don't go anywhere else, that's the best haircut you've ever had." I will be back.
Been going to D AND C for about 8 months. The 2 barbers are both awesome. they are also husband and wife and own the shop.I highly suggest this place. BTW, glad you guys are open, I'm starting to get a bit shaggy. I'll be in in a day or two.
I go here all the time and its great. They just renovated, so it looks fantastic. They set up new flat screens so you can watch sports while they cut your hair. It's also the only barbershop in town that will take debit/credit card.
